Nicolas Baretzki joins Dior’s Commercial Management as Deputy General Manager.

Dior is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Baretzki as Deputy General Manager in charge of commercial activities, effective from April 2nd.

This decision aligns with a strategy to strengthen its commercial operations and bolster its leadership.

Former CEO of Montblanc, Baretzki will bring his expertise and extensive experience in the luxury industry to the French fashion house.

Confirming forecasts from a report by WWD dated December 6th, Baretzki’s arrival is seen as a decisive step in deepening Dior’s footprint in the luxury retail sector.

His responsibilities will cover not only retail but also innovation in wholesale sales and customer experience management, areas experiencing significant growth at Dior.

He will work closely with Olivier Bialobos on digital and omnichannel management, underscoring the increasing importance of digitalization in the industry.

Reporting directly to Charles Delapalme, CEO of Christian Dior Couture, Nicolas Baretzki will join the company’s executive committee.

All regional presidents of Dior will report to him, underscoring the importance of his position and the trust placed in him by the leadership.

Baretzki’s appointment also highlights the attractive power of major luxury houses for top executives, underscoring Dior’s ability to recruit exceptional talent. A graduate of the HEC Paris business school and with a career entirely dedicated to the Richemont Group, Nicolas Baretzki has proven his ability to steer renowned brands such as Montblanc.

His management of Montblanc Haus and his partnerships with entities like Maison Kitsuné and iconic figures such as Zinedine Zidane attest to his vision and ability to reinvent the customer experience.
