The boutique, located in a neoclassical townhouse designed by British architect and designer Robert Adam, offers a sumptuous setting of over 5,000 square feet spread over three floors. From the moment they enter, visitors are transported into the enchanting world of Chanel, where marble, specially identified antiques and works of art create an elegant and timeless atmosphere. Coco Chanel herself was changed by her love of Scotland, spending long periods in the Highlands. This new ephemeral boutique celebrates this unique relationship by showcasing the famous Scottish tweed, a hard-wearing fabric that gave its name to the River Tweed, located within Scotland's borders. Coco Chanel began ordering the fabric from local mills as early as 1924, and Scottish weavers still produce cashmere and tweeds for the home today.
